This is where the foundation of your wedding takes place. It is a lot of what most people would consider to be the boring bits but it’s the most important part.
We’ve made a list of the things we cover and how our process works.
How soon should i get in touch?
When it comes to planning we like to have a chat to you right from the start before you book anything! This way we can work through all the aspects and make sure there is no backtracking or booking things in the excitement of it all and then finding out down the track it wasn’t the best option.
We travel anywhere and cover a huge area however most of our weddings are based from Daylesford and Ballarat, down to Warrnambool and Portland over to Mount Gambier and Hamilton, up to Horsham and anywhere throughout the Wimmera. We love nothing better than going to new places though so all you have to do is ask the question!
How far do you travel?
Your wedding is likely to be one of the biggest one off expenses that you will have as a couple so it makes sense to have someone by your side who has your best interests at heart. We like to begin this process right from the start so we can help you have the most enjoyable day with the biggest bang for your buck. We will guide you through the whole process and take care of all the stuff nobody else sees or even thinks about. We cover things like budget, venue selection, vendor selection, wet weather plans, making sure the generator is big enough to power lights, coolrooms, the band etc. EVERYTHING!
Why have a wedding planner?

We are able to supply you with options of all the vendors out there and suggest people we think would be a great fit for you both. Everyone has different styling and different price points so we help you to pull together a dream team.
venue scouting
There are lots of amazing venues around and we can go through them with you and make sure they will accomodate your guest numbers and also make sure you have an understanding of any other hidden costs they have associated with them eg. buses, the need for generators, toilets etc.
how to get the most out of your budget
We make sure everything you spend is to get the most out of your day. You don’t want to be one of those people who buy bits and pieces that never get used and think ‘oh but we can sell it once we’re done’ A few hundred dollars here and there adds up!
budgeting
Lots of people have no idea how much things cost so we are here to help you through the process and make sure we cover everything so there are no nasty surprises. We also help you keep on track with when payments to vendors are due so you aren’t lobbed with a massive bill at the end.
one point of contact
Throughout the whole process we will be your one point of contact so all you need to worry about is one email or phone call coming in. We touch base with all vendors, track down quotes and handle any changes that need to be made throughout the process.
Of course we are!! We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! If you go with us for the planning we are there right til the end. This then includes everything you get with on the day coordination-from run sheets to fetching more ice.
Are we there on the day?
There are so many moving parts to a wedding and we make sure we have everything ticked off. From buses and toilets to how much power is drawing from each socket and if you need another generator. The list is long and can be very overwhelming. It is easy to fall into the trap of ‘oh my cousin/friend/dad is going to sort that out’ but it rarely happens. They get busy with loads of other things and then they are there to enjoy the day with you so leave it up to us and that way it will be sure to get done.
Things we cover
Once we have our initial catch up we calculate how many hours we think it will take to pull your wedding together taking into consideration your needs and budget. This doesn’t change throughout the process regardless of if the workload increases. We work on $30 per hour in the lead up to the day and $95 per hour on the day of the wedding.
how much do you charge?
As much as you want but generally once we have a plan you don’t need to worry about too much! You can kick back, relax and enjoy engaged life!
